The Charles Moore legacy continues with a group of talented musicians, dancers and singers in the African/ African-American tradition. This versatile company performs dances reflecting the African diaspora with choreographies of Katherine Dunham, Olatunji, Asadata Dafora, Alfred Gallman and Moore himself. I have always admired this company throughout the years, as I supported the performances of my peers. However, I was not fortunate to have been tutored under the auspices of Mr. Moore, having joined the company in 2005. I am honored to continue his legacy through pedagogy and performances today.
