Pedagogy
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge in the form of education. As I have been nurtured with pearls of wisdom by my educators and mentors, I have embraced the opportunity to do the same. I consider myself third generation to the pioneers of The Black Dance Vernacular, and given the pandemic of the global AIDS crisis, I harbored a sense of responsibility to “bridge the gap” and impart knowledge and information for future artists of dance as culture.
My intention for the following pages is to exchange information among a community of artists and educators, in compiling comprehensive material and resources in the continual representation of our craft.
