Rod Rodgers Dance Company

Rod Rodgers, Choreographer
Kim Grier, Artistic Director

Rod Rodgers Dance Company features eclectic works of Black history, culture and identity in America. Rod's signature choreographies include Poets and Peacemakers, Ellington Suite, and the Rhythm dance series. I started dancing with Rod in 1986. He was a man of distinction, well versed in most everything! He was an avid photographer and mentor. RRDC (Rod Rodgers Dance Company) was extended family to Rod, with occasional company members residing on the premises (myself included). RRDC was a nesting place of fortitude, self-expression, stellar talent and creativity. I continue my commitment to the RRDC legacy.
